Samuel (sometimes spelled Sammuel) also appears at Castlerea in 1768 in 40 SHILLING FREEHOLDERS, available from Co Roscommon Heritage & Genealogy Society, Strokestown.
In Synge Census 1749 Richard and Elizabeth Parks are shown with one child over, and three children under, age 14. All are Protestant but no names are given. It is reasonably sure, however, that one of these age pre-14 children was Samuel Parke, as documented above.
