William was the principal heir, the major landowner of the Dunally family branch. Is listed pre-1631 as Juror appointed to find the King's title to Co Sligo lands, under the terror inspired by Thomas Viscount Wentworth, later

He likely was born by 1601, perhaps in England.
Probably married by 1633.
He is not mentioned in the land settlements and surveys of the 1650s-1660s which might indicate he died before then as it would be most unusual to omit such a large landholder.
