Philip met Muriel Fergusson in September 1922, they were married in November of the same year. They homesteaded the Bishop ranch towards
Clinton. Muriel was born there in 1924. They moved to Ashcroft and Phil
bought himself a truck and formed Parke transport. Phylllis, Roger, Colleen
and Verna were all born in Ashcroft. Philip sold his trucking company to
Chapmans transport about 1962. IN 1962 he and Muriel took a trip to Italy
to visit their daughter Verna.
